The folks who brought you the 'Walkman' and colour TV had introduced a new compact camera with a large sensor.
So, that said: enter the Sony Cybershot RX100!
The Sony RX100 |
A large sensor, fast lens grouping means awesome images.
Well, depends on whether you know how to frame a shot or not, that is.
The draw on this new camera is the Carl Ziess Vario-Sonnar zoom lens - 28mm-105mm with a F1.8 aperture.
So far, the first impressions have been really good.

I think the RX100 can easily take down the Canon Powershot S100 for its sheer sensor size and features.
And if you own a Sony NEX-7, this RX100 would complement it very well.
As far as sensor size is concerned, its 1" CX-format CMOS sensor is second only compared to the 1.5" Canon G1X.
Pricing for the RX100 is at USD$650 (RM2,070) a pop, making it a premium item.
So, its good to wait and see if this big boy in a small package can really perform or its just simply another piece of lemon...
