A recent visit to Mini Velo bicycle shop in Damansara Perdana yielded some cool goodies.
One of the finds there was the Nite Ize LED bicyclist vest.
This is a compact safety wear that can be packed into my Camelbak and be worn during low lighting conditions.
The pricetag?
Well, its RM84 a pop.
Not a hefty price if you ride at night especially in places were heavy traffic can be an issue.
So, there really is no point trying to stinge when you life is on the line.
I also found some other Nite Ize products that are decently priced at the store, but the safety vests really caught my attention.
There is an LED strip that is powered by two CR-2032 button cells.
You can set the vest on flashing or momentarily-lit.
The bang for the buck factor here is the 3M Scotchlite reflectors that are sewn onto the vest.
