Hallelujah for my continued meds supply from the company. For the past three months, I have been paying for my own
hypertension meds. These babies cost RM137 a pop. And its a burden to maintain it. I have been on the same meds for the past six years and
since I returned to the present workplace, I have stopped taking it for four months due to budget constraints.And since the mortality rate of a journalist here has been reduced to 41, there's plenty of pressure to stay alive. Breathing air
and keeping the heart pumping is no easy task when you are faced with heavy job tasks and long working hours.Expectations are high as I am expected to perform and deliver. I am thankful to the fact that the meds supply was approved by
the HR folks.
