My New Balance 576BK

The slightly aged New Balance 901 work shoes that I am wearing almost daily are breaking down. It's laminated sole is peeling off.

So, since its the Great Malaysian sale, I checked out the New Balance shop at Mid Valley Gardens to see what kind of discount I can enjoy.

I didn't take a second look at the 576 at first, but after careful consideration, I took the plunge. 

The 916 needs to be repaired to enable a six month extension of its service life. At RM160, it had served its purpose very well.

My new 576 will be rotated along with the 901. With both shoes, I hope to keep them for as long as a year before a new replacement is slotted.
