It is now safe to remove your hardware..

There's nothing worse than losing all your stored data. This happened to me when my Maxtor Basics 80GB external drive had gone kaputt! It happened a week ago and the last activity I had with the drive was uploading some photos of my Will Zermeno knives.
I don't think I can do anything after my laptop and desktop had failed to detect the drive. So, the only thing to do, is to claim a return from the manufacturer.
Maxtor it seems, has been acquired by Seagate and they are based in Singapore. The only info I had, was their office in Menara Summit at USJ, Subang Jaya.
It sucks when all the hardwork put in is now lost. Many of my dog's photos are stored in the drive.
